AllyUp is a transformative initiative designed to reimagine educational advocacy. Developed by Jennifer Dahlquist Ramirez, M.Ed., AllyUp is grounded in 32 years of classroom expertise, case-based legal literacy, and trauma-informed leadership. AllyUp is an original, comprehensive service for families and caregivers, designed to redefine advocacy through actionable practice, lived experience, and real-world legal insight. Unlike traditional advocacy, this service centers student dignity, educator clarity, and systems accountability through interactive, IP-protected tools and frameworks.

The AllyUp Collaborative Network™ is made up of:

  • Field Allies – Education professionals working directly in school systems

  • Family Allies – Independent advocates and trusted community-based guides

  • Clinical and Community-Aligned Allies – Therapists, clinicians, care coordinators, and aligned professionals across systems

JenEd AllyUp for Parents and Caregivers

A parent and child reading together and enjoying an educational experience.

Our goal is to shift advocacy from an adversarial act to a collaborative process rooted in shared purpose as Allies. We believe that parents and caregivers are their child’s best supporters, but navigating the world of Special Ed is difficult and confusing for parents. Our vision is to unify all IEP team members around a single goal: student success. Contact JenEd if you need an Ally for your child.
